The underlayer on this canvas is a vintage music magazine paper. The next layer is a deep dark cherry brown embellished by a sunny buttery yellow around the edges and in the flowers rising from the bottom. The femme figure has bubblegum pink voluminous hair with the tiniest bird nesting in the locks. Atop that lovely do rests a bejewelled crown. Her dress is drawn and cut from a patterned card stock and embellished with rubons and pen.
The canvas is finished and protected in multiple coats of acrylic sealer/varnish. Go ahead and touch, but best not to store the canvas against anything. Direct sunlight can fade vibrant colors, so display responsibly. This piece is fitted with a gallery quality wire hanger and is ready to be displayed. It is signed and dated on the back.
